Owner/operator, Portland Musser, began his first small business, Portland in Austin, in 2014, installing and repairing equipment and designing and remodeling pools. After being in the business for a few years Portland noticed heaters and other equipment being installed or repaired without adherence to manufacture specification, code, or safety standards. In an effort to fill a need the decision was made to move away from the design and remodel of pools and provide a service with an emphasis on pool equipment install and repairs with a focus on heaters. In 2017 Portland and his wife Lindsey began Pool and Spa Heater Pros. Pool and Spa Heater Pros worked in that specific area, making sure all heater and related jobs were completed according to Austin code, but noticed the name change gave many of their new customers the impression that Portland and his team only worked on pool heaters. In 2020 Aqua Mechanix was born with the mission to bring the same professionalism, trust-worthiness and attention to detail to all customers that the earlier businesses had become known for.

Now, with Portland and his wife Lindsey, at the helm and a small team of invaluable, qualified professionals behind them, Aqua Mechanix offers top tier, reliable and honest service to the greater Austin area.
